Campaspe Family Practice is located in the heart of Kyneton within the Macedon Ranges, we are a busy practice and pride ourselves on offering our patients a range of specialised services close to home.
About the role
We are seeking a Practice Nurse (Registered Nurse) to join our supportive team on a Permanent Part Time basis for around 30 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be able to work across CDM and Treatment rooms. Our nurses are integral in delivering day-to-day clinical support to our doctors, the successful candidate will need to be highly motivated with a sound background in patient care and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment and industry.
Nursing tasks are varied and examples include:
* Triage and management of acutely unwell patients
* Immunisations of children and adults
* Wound care
* Health assessments including workplace medicals
* Assisting with minor procedures
* Results notification and patient education
Our ideal candidate will have qualities, skills and experience including:
* Current Registered Nurse AHPRA registration
* Previous experience working in general practice and/or emergency preferable
* A warm and friendly personality
* Dedication to the provision of the highest standard of nursing care with exceptional attention to detail
* Proficient computer skills (previous experience with General Practice software not essential but highly regarded)
* Strong communication and time management skills
