This is a fantastic opportunity for a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner seeking a position with a dedicated Allied Health owned employer working from their new **Robina** clinic. Clients have a range of goals, functional abilities and complex needs requiring your expertise as an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner to guide and support them.

**The role**:
- Build close relationships with your clients and their families to gain a thorough understanding of their needs and goals
- Conduct assessments and implement strategies in consultation with families for various behaviours of concern.
- Provide professional information to families around evidence-based approaches to reduce the impact of challenging behaviour
- Develop Behaviour Support Plans that align with their NDIS plan & goals
- Ongoing evaluation and adjustments made to implemented strategies & plans
- If required, provide training and specialist advice to your teams on Behaviour Support Plans
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders including the allied health team, care providers, carers/family members, relevant agencies and government departments.
**Requirements**:
- At least 12 months experience working as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
- Experience working with complex clients, including people with Intellectual Disabilities & Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a range of clients as well as families, health practitioners and other stakeholders
- Excellent time management skills with a focus on client-centred planning
- Working with Children Check, National Police Check, Children's First Aid training (or willingness to obtain these)
- Current driver's licence and car.
