Role Overview:
This role is responsible for driving national revenue growth by securing new projects and building strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders such as property owners, agents, and developers. The successful candidate will actively pursue business development opportunities, meeting defined sales targets and KPIs. Collaborating closely with the National Sales Manager, they'll contribute to market strategy, attend industry events, and play a key role in closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for driving revenue growth nationally by securing new projects.
* Focused on managing relationships with key stakeholders such as property owners, agents, and developers, aiming to build long-term customer loyalty.
* Expected to actively pursue business development opportunities nationwide and meet targets and KPIs.
* Must attend networking and industry events and always maintain a proactive business development mindset.
* Work closely with National Sales Manager, in developing national market research and proposal strategies, while also playing a significant role in closing deals.
* Proactive approach in building relationships with customers through lunches, dinners and social events.
Skills & Attributes:
* Experience: Proven track record in business development, particularly within the commercial and industrial property sectors, with a strong emphasis on industrial property and dealing with property owners and agents.
* Key Skills: Ability to build strong customer relationships with a focus on customer experience and long-term loyalty. Knowledge of make-good services, refurbishments, or construction processes is essential.
* Mindset: A confident, proactive individual who can bring fresh ideas to the role and thrive in a flexible, innovative work culture.
* Background: Background in industrial property/construction. Ability to demonstrate strong business development skills and experience.
