Corporate Services, including payroll, will be provided by the Department of Jobs, Skills, Industry and Regions while a process for the formal transfer of staff in impacted areas is implemented.

Earth Resources Regulation Senior Inspectors carry out a broad range of regulatory compliance activities at exploration, mining quarrying and petroleum operational sites across Victoria, as part of a specialised regulatory compliance team. Senior Inspectors play a key role developing our ways of working; mentoring and supporting the development of Inspectors; and contributing to state-wide planning and reporting. They also work directly with local communities, regulated parties, co-regulators and teams across Earth Resources Regulation in carrying out their role.
With experience identifying non-compliance in operational activities, risk-based selection of enforcement measures, you will have demonstrated experience in the earth resources industry and have a passion for mentoring and developing team members whilst working under limited direction.

This is a fixed term position available until 5 July 2024. The work location for this position is Bendigo with hybrid work arrangements available.
