Offer description

Gaven State School is seeking a temporary full-time Deputy Principal (Curriculum focus) commencing 20 April 2026 until 11 December 2026, unless otherwise determined. You will provide instructional leadership, support staff development, and drive student engagement across senior primary school years. This is a temporary leadership opportunity to influence school programs and contribute to a positive, high-performing learning environment.

About The Role

Responsibilities include, but not limited to;

Support and deputise for the Principal in leading a shared vision focused on high-quality learning outcomes for all students.
Model ethical, values-based leadership and embed inclusive, socially just practices.
Maintain high standards for student achievement and staff performance.
Build strong partnerships with families, agencies, community, and industry while engaging in ongoing professional learning.
Demonstrate strategic, future-focused leadership with sound knowledge of legislation and effective resource management.
