Quality Coordinator / Quality Officer • Tullamarine, Melbourne, Australia
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and improve the site Quality & Food Safety Management System (QMS / FSMS)
* Drive compliance with certification standards, internal policies.
* Develop, review, and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and work instructions
* Monitor quality performance through data analysis, metrics, and reporting
* Prepare and present quality compliance reports to site leadership and customers
* Investigate non-conformances and lead corrective and preventative actions (CAPA)
* Identify improvement opportunities to reduce customer complaints, waste, and plant costs
* Provide guidance and support to a team of 3 Quality Control personnel across a 24/7 operation
* Partner with production and operations teams to embed quality standards
About You
* Proven experience in a Quality Officer, Quality Coordinator or QA role within manufacturing
* Strong working knowledge of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems
* Experience with audits, certifications, and compliance reporting
* Strong analytical skills with experience using quality KPIs and metrics
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment
