Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in enabling Lockton's technology strategy across the Pacific region. You will work closely with stakeholders across the organisation to analyse business needs, define clear and actionable requirements, and support the successful delivery of technology-enabled solutions. You will contribute to process improvement, change adoption, vendor engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives that deliver measurable business value.

What will you be doing? Requirements & Analysis
* Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and process analysis
* Document current (\"as-is\") and future (\"to-be\") business processes
* Analyse business problems and identify solutions that deliver measurable value
* Translate business needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements
* Define business rules, system interactions, and dependencies
Project Delivery Support
* Support project managers and delivery teams across all project phases
* Assist with scope definition, feasibility assessments, and project planning
* Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, and supporting documentation
* Support testing activities, including UAT coordination and defect triage
Stakeholder & Vendor Management
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and subject matter experts across the region and globally
* Facilitate workshops to validate requirements and solution options
* Support vendor engagement activities, including evaluation and onboarding
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Change, Risk & Continuous Improvement
* Contribute to change impact assessments, communications, and training materials
* Support rollout activities and post go-live stabilisation
* Ensure alignment with architecture standards, policies, risk frameworks, and compliance requirements
* Identify opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and platform enhancement
You will need the following experience and qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, Information Systems, or a related discipline
* 3–5 years' experience in a Business Analyst role from an insurance, broking, or financial services company is essential
* Exposure to environments within technology, digital, or transformation environments is desirable
* Strong experience documenting requirements, use cases, user stories, and process maps
* Solid understanding of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
* Experience working with vendors and technical delivery teams
* Understanding of data models, reporting, and analytics concepts (SQL skills desirable)
* Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and process mapping tools (e.g. Visio, Miro)
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
