Wirraka Maya Health ServicesAboriginal Corporation (WMHSAC) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Service based in South Hedland is seeking a full-time proactive and organised Recruitment Officer to join its Corporate Services team.
This role plays a key part in supporting the WMHSAC's workforce needs by coordinating timely, efficient and culturally appropriate recruitment and onboarding processes across the service.

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Recruitment Officer is responsible for coordinating end-to-end recruitment activities and supporting workforce planning, onboarding and credentialing processes.
Working closely with the Chief Operating Officer and service managers, you will help attract, recruit and onboard high-quality staff while ensuring recruitment records, compliance and credentialing requirements are maintained to a high standard.
This role suits someone who is highly organised, detail-focused and enjoys working collaboratively in a fast-paced health service environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes, including job advertising, application screening, shortlisting, interview coordination and reference checks.
* Prepare recruitment documentation, employment packs, offer letters and contracts for approval.
* Support onboarding processes, ensuring all mandatory documents and checks are completed prior to commencement.
* Maintain staff credentialing registers, including registrations, licences, WWCC, National Police Clearances and immunisation evidence.
* Ensure recruitment and onboarding records are accurate, compliant and audit ready.
* Liaise with managers to understand workforce needs and support recruitment planning and timelines.
* Maintain recruitment tracking tools, reports and workforce dashboards.
* Support employer branding and recruitment marketing activities.
* Provide recruitment-focused administrative support to the Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Services team.
About You You will bring:
* A qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related field
* Demonstrated experience in recruitment and/or HR administration
* Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
* Sound understanding of recruitment processes and HR compliance requirements
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work both
* independently and as part of a team
* A commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct
* Current Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain)
* Current National Police Clearance
* Australian working rights (no visa sponsorship available)
Experience working within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation, and experience using Employment Hero or recruitment systems, will be highly regarded.
