The RoleThe Head Chef will be responsible for leading all kitchen operations while working hands-on across all sections.
This position requires a creative and driven leader who thrives in a boutique environment and enjoys mentoring a team.Key responsibilities include: Overseeing day-to-day kitchen management including rostering, recruitment, and training
Designing and developing seasonal menus in collaboration with the Executive Chef
Managing stocktake, ordering, cost control, and compliance with food safety standards
Leading and mentoring a team of chefs and kitchen porters to deliver consistent, high-quality service
Supervising occasional evening functions, including seated events and cocktail receptions Skills and Experience Proven experience as a Head Chef in a premium dining workplace
Robust leadership and team management skills
Menu development and costing experience
Knowledge of stock management, ordering, and cost control
