Reporting to the Head of Training and Checking, the role will be responsible for the management and oversight of all Dash 8 pilot training.Our Dash 8 flying and simulator operations are based in Broome, Cairns, Darwin and Melbourne. The successful applicant will be required to travel as part of their normal duties.Other capital city locations will be considered for suitably experienced applicants.QualificationsWhat we needAustralian ATPL1000 hours multi-crew turboprop experience500 hours multi-crew commandCASR Part 61 Pilot Instructor Rating with a type rating training endorsement (equivalent overseas qualifications will be considered)Aviation training management experience or experience in developing and managing training material in accordance with current civil aviation legislation for multi-crew operationsAustralian CitizenAbility to hold an AGSVA clearance and ESCDesirableFlight Examiner RatingDash 8 type ratingPrior experience as operator key personnelExperience special mission flying role or aeromedical operationsExperience in aviation project management (e.g. type entry into service experience)Additional InformationApplicants may also need to meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) requirements.
