Overview
MercyCare is seeking a dedicated Social Wellbeing Volunteer as a Greek Speaking Companion for a resident living with dementia at our residential aged care home in Joondalup. The resident would prefer a female.
Responsibilities
* Connect with the Greek-speaking resident to reduce loneliness and isolation
* Reminisce, share stories, have a chat, and connect over similar hobbies and interests
* Play board games or card games to support social engagement

Commitment
The day and hours are negotiable with the Wellbeing Coordinator after you commence. A commitment of once a week for a minimum of 2 hours is requested.
