Your Role: The Superstar Support Worker. As a Community Support Worker, you'll be part adventurer, part cheerleader, part life coach—and all heart. Whether you’re hanging with clients in day programs or exploring the community together, you’ll be making every day a win.

Responsibilities

- Adventure Guide: Help clients try cool things and shine in their community.
- Skill Builder: Teach life skills with patience and pizzazz—helping clients be their best selves.
- Care Guru: Pitch in with personal care tasks (because kindness is your thing).
- Behaviour Whisperer: Roll with personalised behaviour plans like a true pro.
- Family Connector: Share all the wins and progress with clients’ families.
- Transport Legend: Chauffeur clients to programs in our trusty Sunnyfield van.
- Admin Wizard: Jot down notes and keep things organized without breaking a sweat.

Qualifications

- You’re a people person with a side of awesome.
- Experience in the disability sector is super important.
- You must also be confident to support our amazing clients who may at times have challenging behaviours.
- Helping with personal care is part of a day’s work.
- You’re resilient, confident, and always bring the sunshine.
- Creativity is your middle name, and teamwork is your favourite game.

Requirements / Readiness

Ready to join our team? We’re looking for experienced support workers looking for casual shifts. You must be available between 7 AM – 9 PM, Monday to Friday. Life’s all about balance, so we’ll try to be flexible where it counts.

Heads up! Successful candidates will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 and clear some checks like the National Criminal History Record and NDIS Worker Screening.
