We are assisting our client in their search for a Paralegal to join their legal practice on the Southern Gold Coast. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for growth.
The company is a well established business offering a number of legal services to its client's. They have an excellent reputation and this new role is multi disciplined and varied to support the team.
**The Role**
A varied role, where you will be supporting the legal team, in particular an overflow for Conveyancing. You will also be covering reception, supporting the office the legal admin and general duties, this is an important and valuable role within the team.
**Duties include**:
- Legal administrative support
- Administration duties - open new legal case files, filing, potentially creating invoices
- Admin support to conveyancing team
- Answer and direct telephone calls, take messages as required
- Diary management - booking / scheduling appointments and facilitating conference calls / office meetings
- Managing stationary and office supplies
- Reception - meet and greet clients / visitors
- Word processing support
- Liaise with external companies such as IT Support, photocopy company, landlord & fleet companies, in line with business needs if required
**Applicant Requirements**
We are looking for someone with some legal experience, ideally an understanding of conveyancing.
- A proven track record in a multi functional administration role
- Experience within a Legal firm & conveyancing will be highly regarded
- Strong administrator, with excellent written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience with legal client management software, LEAP/ other desirable but not essential
This is a full-time, permanent role.
