About the Role
As a Workshop Mechanical Fitter is responsible for assembling, fitting, repairing, and maintaining fixed plant equipment such as crushers, screens, conveyors, chutes, and associated mechanical components. The role involves reading and interpreting drawings, carrying out preventative and breakdown maintenance, and ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately, and to specification within a workshop environment.
Key Details
* Location: Bibra Lake – impressive new workshop supporting large-scale fabrication and project builds
* Hours: Full‐time, 56 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 10‐hour days; Saturday, 6‐hour days)
* Remuneration: $46.00 per hour plus penalties Site Allowance payable for any FIFO works
What you need
* An Australian‐recognised trade certificate
* A valid WA Driver's Licence
* The ability to pass a pre‐employment medical, drug and alcohol screen
* Experience with fixed plant components (crushers, screens, conveyors, pumps, and chutes) is highly desirable
