Job Description
Our Outside School Hours Care service, St Helens, is looking for a passionate Assistant Coordinator to assist with managing the service and providing engaging programs for our primary-age children.
This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 35 hours per week to lead a team of passionate educators.
You will work split shifts, supporting our Monday-Friday hours: 6:30 am–9:00 am (Rise then Shine) and 2:00 pm–6:00 pm (Stay and Play).
Extra hours are also available during school holidays.
About the role
With the backing of a dedicated state-specific office and the mentorship of regional managers who visit regularly, you'll be empowered to shine in your role while developing your skills as a leader.
It's your chance to make a real impact while being part of a supportive, high-energy team.
Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft.
Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents.
Lead a team of educators onsite, including roster management.
Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration.

Qualifications
Enjoys working with children and making a positive impact.
Communicates clearly and confidently.
Works well in a team and aspires to grow into a leadership role.
Holds (or is willing to obtain) a National Police Check and a Working with Children check.
Has Australian work rights.
Obtained or is studying toward a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA.
