THE ROLE
We're on the lookout for a detail-drivenPayroll Advisorwho loves keeping things accurate and compliant.
You'll play a key role in making sure our team gets paid correctly and on time, while usingProntoto manage the process from start to finish.
This is a hands-on role where you'll work closely with the People & Culture and Finance teams to keep everything running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:
Processing end-to-end payroll for EPEC employees on a fortnightly basis (around 170 employees – salary + blue collar)
Entering employee data into the payroll system (new hires, changes, terminations)
Calculating and applying leave entitlements, overtime, and allowances
Ensuring accurate payment of superannuation, PAYG tax, and deductions
System enhancements and automations as required
Interpreting Modern Awards and ensuring compliance with the Fair Work Act and NES
Managing finance-related payroll tasks and the payroll inbox
Preparing and lodging STP reports to the ATO
Assisting with year-end processes, including PAYG summaries and reconciliations
Supporting audits and providing documentation as required
ABOUT YOU
A Certificate or Diploma in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (desirable)
Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in a similar payroll role
Solid understanding of payroll legislation, superannuation, and taxation
Experience with accounting software (extra kudos if you've worked with Pronto)
A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy
Great communication skills and a knack for solving problems
The ability to handle confidential information with complete discretion
