Your Future Role
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to support various functions at our Ballarat site operations. As the HR site lead for complex IR/ER matters, you will be responsible for supporting shift rosters, enterprise bargaining negotiations, and leading site transformational change.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain trusting relationships with stakeholders
* Support Enterprise Bargaining negotiations and provide coaching, development, and support to one direct report
* Coach managers in performance improvement and performance management discussions
* Lead investigations and resolution of complex IR/ER issues
* Provide ongoing governance training on employment law and 'respect at work'
* Work with key management personnel to improve site communication
* Collaborate with unions and offer IR/ER advice
* Support site change management and HR projects
* Manage expatriates and assist with Compensation & Benefits activities
* Provide reporting and data expertise to support business justification
Your Qualifications:
* Tertiary degree in a related field
* Significant experience in employment/labour law, gained through either HR or ER/IR roles
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
* Proven experience working in a complex industrial environment
* Comprehensive knowledge of industrial relations principles and practices
* Experience supporting Enterprise Agreement (EA) negotiations
* Generalist HR experience within a matrix organisational structure
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and articulate views clearly
