Human Resources Officer Job Description
This role is responsible for providing administrative support to the HR department. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for employees, taking phone calls and responding to HR-related queries.
The ideal candidate will have experience in an HR support role, strong communication skills, and a friendly professional phone manner. They will also be able to handle confidential information with discretion and possess good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Taking phone calls and responding to manager and employee queries via email and internal systems.
* Triage incoming requests and determine the appropriate response or escalation.
* Providing accurate and timely information regarding HR policies, leave, benefits, and procedures.
* Recording and tracking enquiries using Workday.
* Working closely with HR Services, Workday Support, HR Business Partners, and other teams to resolve issues.
* Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company policies and employment legislation.
