**The Position**
We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Accounts Assistant to work in our Gold Coast Head Office who can work both independently and part of a team.
You will work as part of our Client Accounts Finance Team and will provide front-line financial and accounts solutions that support our operations and clients across Australia.
This is a wonderful opportunity for someone who wants to build on their experience. Working closely with the senior members of the team, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the Accounts Receivable Department on a day-to-day basis
- Dealing with matters that have been escalated by the Company Care team, including acting as backup when the team are on leave
- Assisting the accounts payable department as required and proving backup and covering leave
- Assisting the accounting team with various tasks including annual accrual accounting, BAS and tax related reporting duties
- Ensuring compliance with all internal controls
- Providing information to clients and management as required
- Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Ad hoc duties as required within the Finance Team

- Experience within a professional services firm
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft office suit and the ability to quickly learn our internal industry specific software
- Strong attention to detail
- Proactive attitude with the ability to multi-task
