Key Responsibilities
* Perform routine maintenance tasks and general repair work. Including painting decorating and waste removal.
* Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve issues proactively.
* Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff to ensure minimal disruption.
* Assist in maintaining hotel equipment fixtures and fittings in accordance with safety and operational standards.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless hotel operations.
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any major concerns to management.
* Comply with workplace health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in a maintenance role within a hotel or similar environment.
* Strong problem‐solving skills and ability to work independently.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
* Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays as required.
