Seeking an experienced Head of HR Operations for our client to oversee all aspects of human resources function across Australia and ensure they're aligned with business goals.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with leadership to establish and foster the desired corporate culture, ensuring its consistent embodiment in daily operations.
- Lead the initiative to enhance talent and performance across Australia. Identify areas for improvement based on current performance gaps and insights.
- Provide support to people leaders throughout the company to enhance associate relations and performance.
- Develop outstanding strategies for sourcing, recruitment, recognition, onboarding, and retention of corporate office associates. Assist operations managers in their efforts to recruit and retain talent in the field.
- Lead the Performance Management activities and provide expertise and coaching to People Leaders and Associates, promoting effectiveness in goal setting, ongoing performance feedback, and career development planning.
- Lead, coach, and support the team in Succession Planning to facilitate the growth and development of high-potential individual contributors and leaders. Ensure the implementation of robust succession plans.
- Ensure compliance of all HR activities within Australian operations with relevant government regulations.
- Assist the payroll function and perform payroll activities as a backup.
- Provide HR consultation to leaders on staffing analysis, role definition, restructuring, and reorganization implementation, as necessary.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 10 years' experience in human resources, ideally having multiple roles and rotations in a variety of HR disciplines, such as recruitment, employee relations, compensation, etc.
- Proven leadership experience and ability to positively influence organizational change.
- Knowledge of human resources principles, policies, and techniques, and thorough knowledge of Australian human resources laws and regulations.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Excellent people skills and the ability to manage interpersonal/people-related issues.
