Civmec are currently seeking experienced Riggers to support our upcoming CSBP work which include a 4-week shut down campaign running throughout February as well as ongoing construction and maintenance. This work forms part of the CSBP Sodium Cyanide Expansion project in Kwinana WA and is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major industrial upgrade and work alongside a skilled, high-performing team.


The Role


Reporting to the Leading Hand/Supervisor your key responsibilities are:

1. Casual Rates plus Penalties after 36 hours
2. Site and Travel allowances
3. Assist with lift plans and lifting operations
4. Align level and securing machinery
5. Inspecting, maintain and tagging rigging equipment
6. Ensure rigging gear is stored correctly
7. Supporting crane setup, including barricading, exclusion zones and signage in line with site requirements
8. Attach correctly rated rigging equipment to structures to move loads using chain blocks, pulleys, tirfors and lever hoists
9. Keep tools and equipment clean, safe and stored appropriately
10. Maintaining a high standard of Housekeeping
11. Perform other general duties as required


About You


To be successful in the role you will possess the following:

12. Available for the full 4-week period commencing 01/02/2026
13. Flexibility to work both Day and Night shift
14. Current High Risk Rigging licence RI or RA, WP and VOC (VOC within 2 Years preferred)
15. Valid Working Safely at Heights Certificate
16. A current Driver's Licence (HR desirable)
17. White Card – (Construction Safety Awareness)
18. Previous construction experience
19. Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening.
