Are you a hands-on HR professional ready for your next challenge?
We're seeking an experienced and proactive Senior HR Advisor to join Directions Workforce Solutions. In this pivotal role, you'll support the full employee lifecycle and help drive a positive people experience.
You'll work directly with the management team to deliver HR solutions that support our people, improve systems, and drive engagement across the business.
What You'll Do
• Lead HR projects and contribute to strategic initiatives projects that enhance culture, values, and employee engagement
• Drive compliance across HR and Industrial Relations, ensuring adherence to Fair Work and NES requirements
• Provide expert quality HR and IR advice and operational support to managers and employees
• Lead investigations and performance management
• Prepare HR reports and metrics including turnover, training, and recruitment data
• Drive policy development and process improvement across HR function
• Assist with payroll and timesheet related queries
• Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding processes
• Oversee HRIS and maintain accurate HR employee records
• Review and Implement Policies and Procedures, individual employment contracts and other HR related documents
What You'll Bring (Essential Requirements)
• 3+ years in a (Senior) HR Advisor role - GTO, labour hire or construction industry experience highly desirable
• Has solid experience in Industrial Relations, including advising stakeholders on compliance with Fair Work legislation, Awards, Enterprise Agreements and the National Employment Standards
• Has independently led investigations into employee grievances, performance issues, and misconduct
• Communicates clearly and confidently, always keeping the (internal and external) customer experience top of mind
• Must have exceptional writing skills
• Takes initiative, self-driven with a positive outlook
• A natural forward planner who critically assesses their own performance
• Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships at all levels
• Highly organised, with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset
• Australian Citizen or permanent resident
