Permanent Part-Time Payroll Officer - Not-for-Profit | Community Support
Are you passionate about payroll and making a positive impact in the community? Our not-for-profit client is seeking an experienced and process-driven Payroll Officer to join their growing team on a permanent part-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a values-driven organization in a modern, supportive office environment.
About the Role:
You will be responsible for accurately processing and maintaining a medium-sized payroll, ensuring compliance with payroll legislation and relevant awards. SCHADS Award experience is highly desirable; however, candidates with strong experience interpreting and administering complex awards are also welcome.
Key Responsibilities:
Process end-to-end payroll for a medium-sized staff group or strong front end processor from high volume environment.
Investigate and resolve payroll enquiries with a positive, can-do attitude while collaborating with team members and staff in a conscientious manner.
Stay current with payroll legislation, ensuring the organization remains compliant and prepared for any changes.
Interpret and apply the SCHADS Award and/or other complex awards as needed.
Proactively identify areas for process, procedure, and systems improvement.
About You:
SCHADS Award experience is highly desirable; otherwise, proven experience working with complex awards is essential.
Detail-oriented, process-driven, and forward-thinking, with a passion for continuous improvement.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach.
Conscientious and committed to supporting staff and resolving payroll queries in a timely manner.
