Description As the National Accounts Officer, you’ll play a key role in managing financial operations, supporting strategic initiatives, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our billing and accounts receivable processes. From reconciling high-volume transactions to liaising with internal teams and external partners, this role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, precision, and stakeholder collaboration. Key responsibilities: To assist with the identification and allocation of payments for all monies received by CBRE in a timely manner. Maintaining the billing system in Salesforce and the accounts system in MRI for Brand iQ by instructing team of cut-off dates & when invoices need to be generated by. To investigate and answer all account receivable enquires received by Brand iQ. Assisting Brand iQ Managers/ Co-Ordinator’s with reconciliation of accounts, arrears management, payment plan queries and monies allocation. Credit notes allocations in MRI which reflect back to Salesforce. Generating monthly/adhoc financial reports in Salesforce and MRI. Investigate payments on MRI for clients claiming payment. Produce EOM slides for Centre Management meetings. Support Business Development Manager, Vending & Storage with monthly invoicing by forwarding invoices via email to clients. Assisting with data entry for Brand iQ’s budget and reforecasting. Monitor and action emails sent to Brand iQ email account in a timely manner. Provide Financial Workflow training to Brand iQ on a regular basis and to new starters To act as the conduit between MRI and Salesforce by ensuring the transfer of financial transactions are processed correctly and to raise any issues to the National Manager, Strategy & Business Operations About you You’re a proactive and organised finance professional with at least three years’ experience in commercial accounts receivable. You bring a strong understanding of accounting principles, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for process improvement. You’re confident working with systems like MRI and Salesforce, and you’re comfortable navigating high-volume transactional environments. Whether it’s reconciling accounts, generating reports, or training team members on financial workflows, you approach every task with accuracy and accountability. You’re also a natural communicator — someone who can build strong relationships with stakeholders, respond to queries with clarity, and work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. To succeed in this role, you will have: At least three (3) years’ experience in commercial accounts receivable Solid understanding of basic accounting principles Sound knowledge in MRI accounting system and/or Salesforce CRM system Highly developed skills in customer relationship and accounts management An ability to proactively prioritise and manage expectations High degree of accuracy and a keen eye for detail An ability to work independently but also work within a Team The ability to communicate articulately and efficiently with others Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word Preferred: Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration An understanding of commercial and retail leasing National exposure and experience in Australia Exposure to financial accounting management across multiple income streams
