What You'll Actually Do.
As an Account Manager, you'll be the engine room of some of our best client relationships, leading day-to-day delivery of some incredible press office retainers that operate like a well oiled machine, as well as ideating and delivering on killer campaigns. You'll be building media and influencer connections for our clients and keeping everything running smoothly.
You'll work alongside an Account Director who has your back, while managing junior team members and running your own accounts with confidence. Autonomous but supported, creative yet commercially minded, bringing energy and always across the detail.
Media & storytelling
* Pitch stories that actually land: sharp angles, right contacts and perfect timing.
* Own a black book of media and influencer relationships across lifestyle, luxury, travel, beauty and F&B.
* Write with impact: media releases, key messages, Q&As, briefing notes. All of it. To a high standard.
* Lead media and influencer events from concept to execution.
* Be relentlessly proactive on coverage, follow-up is your superpower and you are on it daily.
Client work
* Be the person clients call when they want straight talk and good ideas.
* Run small-to-medium accounts end-to-end, with senior support when you need it.
* Develop comms strategies and present them with conviction.
* Stay ahead of trends in your clients' industries, especially travel, beauty and beverage.
* Manage timelines, budgets and reporting, without dropping the ball.
Events
* Plan and execute events: venue, talent, theming and guest lists. The lot.
* Be the calmest person in the room when things don't go to plan.
Culture & creative
* Bring ideas that make the team better in brainstorms, on briefs and in the hallway.
* Keep the agency sharp on youth culture, subculture, digital culture. Whatever's moving.
* Contribute to new business pitches with research, story angles and genuine enthusiasm.
People & team
* Manage and mentor junior staff. You're the one who makes them better.
* Work with #RedSocial on digital and social strategy for your clients.
* Support the wider team without being asked.
What You Bring.
4+ years in PR or comms agency life. You've been around long enough to know how it works and short enough to still be excited about it.
* Strong media contacts across news, lifestyle, luxury, travel and food & beverage.
* A track record of coverage that speaks for itself.
* The writing skills to back up a big idea with sharp copy.
* Experience managing clients independently and juniors with care.
* Commercial awareness; you know what a budget is and you respect it.
* A degree in Comms, PR or Journalism is great, but not a dealbreaker if your experience says otherwise.
