Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and possess strong mechanical aptitude.
Main Responsibilities
* Support skilled trades workers with tasks including driveshaft repair, assembly, and manufacturing of light vehicles through to heavy machinery.
* Assist with repairs to heavy axle, gearbox, and brake packs.
* Perform basic repairs and maintenance on automotive components and equipment.
* Maintain a clean and organized workshop and tools.
* Provide general support to the wider team as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Previous experience in a trades assistant or similar role in the automotive industry.
* Strong mechanical aptitude and interest in automotive repairs and maintenance.
* Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Reliable work ethic and proactive approach.
