Our client is a global financial institution with a strong reputation in investment operations and fund administration. Following recent growth in the Australian market, they are establishing a new middle-office hub to support regional and global investment teams. This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a formative stage and contribute to building best-in-class operational capability.
Responsibilities
* Perform daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations and ensure accuracy of unit pricing.
Reconcile cash, positions, and transactions between internal records, custodians, and administrators.
* Review and process journal entries, accruals, and expense provisions.
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting cycles.
* Assist with audit preparation, tax packs, and regulatory filings.
* Identify process improvements and support automation or control initiatives as the middle-office capability scales.
* Partner with internal stakeholders across performance, compliance, and investment teams to resolve discrepancies and provide financial insight.
Your Profile
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA qualification is an advantage).
* 3 – 12 years of experience in fund accounting or investment operations, ideally within an asset manager, custodian, or fund administrator.
* Strong technical understanding of financial instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives).
* Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with fund accounting or portfolio management systems (e.g., Geneva, Investran, Eagle, SimCorp Dimension).
* Excellent attention to detail, analytical ability, and stakeholder communication skills.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment and contribute to process design and improvement.
