About the role
A high‑profile government program is seeking an experienced Senior Application Systems Engineer (EL1 equivalent) to support and enhance a suite of commercial and bespoke ICT applications built on the Microsoft .NET technology stack. In this role, you will implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services. As an experienced Systems Engineer you will support commercial-off-the-shelf and bespoke ICT solutions spanning web/desktop applications, web services, and batch jobs built using the Microsoft .NET technology stack.
Key responsibilities
* Support and administer a range of COTS and bespoke applications
* Diagnose and resolve system issues and incidents
* Plan, test and execute patching and system enhancements
* Develop and maintain documentation and SOPs
Technical experience
* Enterprise administration of COTS platforms (e.g., LEX, TM1/COBRA, Jira, ArcGIS, Jade Investigator, Blue Prism, Kiteworks, Syncplify.me, SerraView)
* Windows Server & IIS administration, certificates, scheduled jobs, troubleshooting
* Basic Linux exposure.
