**About Donate 2 Drive LTD**
Donate 2 Drive LTD is a not-for-profit organisation committed to providing free driving lessons to individuals from all walks of life who hold a current learner's permit. We support road safety and social inclusion by helping participants build the confidence and skills they need to become safe, independent drivers. Our team of dedicated volunteers work closely with people from diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds across Victoria.
**About the role**
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and qualified driver to temporarily support our program for a 2-week contract while our regular driver is unwell. This role is critical in ensuring continuity of service and making a real difference in the lives of our participants.
As a Contract Driver, you will provide supervised driving support to learner drivers, helping them practise driving in a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive environment.
**Key responsibilities**
- Provide supervised driving lessons to participants with learner permits
- Support individuals from diverse backgrounds in developing their driving confidence and road safety awareness
- Follow all road safety laws and organisational procedures
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and safe for use
- Communicate respectfully and clearly with participants and staff
**Requirements**:
- Valid full Australian driver's licence (minimum of 3 years driving experience)
- National Police Check (current, within the last 12 months)
- Working With Children Check (current, within the last 12 months)
- Previous experience in driver supervision or community-based programs
- Solid interpersonal skills and a non-judgemental, patient attitude
- Experience working with people from diverse cultural and social backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
- Knowledge of Victorian road rules and learner requirements
**Desirable**
- First Aid certificate (not essential)
**Additional details**
The successful applicant will be required to collect and return the Donate 2 Drive vehicle each day from a designated location, which is factored into the daily working hours. You must be available at **Hampton Park on Thursday 12 June from 10am to 4pm**, and at **Manor Lakes on Friday 13 June from 11am to 6pm**.
