Heavy Diesel Fitter Position Overview

This is an opportunity to take on a challenging role as a Field Service Mechanic or Electrician, supporting the maintenance of fleets and Thiess sites in the Hunter region.
\
As a Field Service Mechanic or Electrician, you will be responsible for performing servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment. This includes:
\
\
1. Performing servicing, repair, and maintenance of large-scale mobile mining equipment including Caterpillar, Liebherr, Komatsu and more.
\
2. Mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment from sites.
\
3. Source technical information from relevant reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems.
\
4. Evaluate and implement processes to improve productivity and efficiency.
\
5. Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained.
\
6. Carry out and assist with work order management.
\
7. Work semi-autonomously when required.
\
8. Be an addition to a highly motivated and driven team.
\
9. Support and contribute to the development of the team by sharing knowledge and expertise.
\
