Stanes Transport is a locally owned and family operated business located in Alice Springs. We have an opportunity for a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join our expanding business.

In this position, duties will include but are not limited to -
* Repairs and servicing of Mack, Kenworth, Isuzu and Volvo trucks as well as machinery
* Repairs to trailers and dollies
* Troubleshooting and diagnostics
* Maintaining accurate and precise records
* Working closely with drivers to help maintain vehicles and equipment to the highest possible standard
* Occasional roadside repairs
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
To be successful, you will need to possess:
* Experience as a qualified diesel mechanic
* Excellent technical knowledge and skills
* Good communication skills
* Able to work efficiently and effectively
* Comply with OH&S standards
* Work well as both part of a maintenance team and individually
* Desire to learn new skills
