We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Trade Assistant - Glazier Fixer to assist our experienced glaziers with the installation, fixing, and repair of glass products, windows, doors, and other glazing systems. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in the glazing industry or those with relevant trade skills looking to enhance their career.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Assist experienced glaziers with the installation and fitting of glass, doors, windows, and facades.
- Handle and transport glass and related materials safely and efficiently.
- Prepare job sites by setting up equipment and ensuring materials are ready for use.
- Measure and cut as directed.
- Perform basic repairs on glazing systems and fixtures.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures on all job sites.
- Provide general assistance as required to ensure timely completion of projects.
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in glazing, construction, or a similar trade is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment used in glazing.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- White Card (construction induction).
