The role
Chubb Fire is seeking an Electrician/Fire Alarm Technician in both Hobart and Launceston to provide product support and technical services within the Fire industry across Tasmania.
About the Roles
Based in Hobart and/or Launceston, you will install, service, maintain, and operate fire detection and gaseous systems for commercial and industrial clients across Tasmania.
About You
- Experience as an Electrical Technician, ideally in the Fire industry.
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Resident.
- Current Electrical Licence or FPAS Accreditation (preferred).
- Previous experience in the Fire Protection Industry (advantageous).
- Current driver's licence.
- Ability to undergo pre-employment medical and police checks.
- Good knowledge of Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment (preferred).
- Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation and Cabling Licence are ideal but not mandatory.
- Positive attitude and willingness to deliver for customers and clients.
- Ability to work an on‐call roster.
