**Role**:
- Deliver comprehensive, effective and efficient emergency and medical care.
- Providing medical services to Emergency Department (ED) patients, you will have the opportunity to perform a wide range of procedures.
- You will provide leadership to the clinical team, and facilitate effective clinical review mechanisms and quality improvement processes.
- Contribute to continuing education programs within the ED.
- Deliver and participate in relevant teaching programs for medical officers and other staff attached to the Department.
- Help to establish an ED training hub with a reputation for high training standards.
**Required**:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent,
- Registered with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration in Emergency Medicine (FACEM).
- A proven track record of experience in clinical emergency medicine, in a setting comparable to an Australian Emergency Department.
- Demonstrate wide experience in the management of paediatric and adult emergencies
- High level of skill in professional judgement, clinical competence
- Strong negotiation and communication within a multidisciplinary setting.
- Experience in the supervision and teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff will hold you in good stead for this role.

**Salary**: $438,740.00 - $570,768.00 per year
