Your impact
Reporting to the Lead, People Business Partner, in the permanent part-time position of Office Administrator you will be an integral member of our administration team in Newmont's corporate office located in Subiaco in Western Australia.
As part of our team you will
* Support effective and efficient running of the Subiaco office facilities
* Be a first point of contact for visitors and stakeholders in a front-facing capacity
* Maintain office administration including supplies, mail, filing and records
* Manage invoicing and general purchasing administration
* Coordinate office facility maintenance and repairs including liaising with building management
* Complete administration tasks and ad-hoc projects to support the efficient functioning of the office including being cost-conscious
* Maintain confidentiality and a professional work ethic in all activities
* Ensure a safe work environment and adhere to Newmont procedures and policies.
Prerequisites for your success in the role
* Previous office administration experience in a professional corporate environment
* Certificate in Business Administration well regarded
* Ability to work collaboratively in a small close-knit team
* High attention to detail and willingness to adhere to procedures and policies
* Fluent English language and written skills
* Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications including Teams
* Advanced skills in SAP including purchase requisition data entry and analytics
* Ability to confidently learn in-house systems as required
* Current Western Australian Driver Licence
Your work environment
This permanent part-time position will work in a job-share capacity across an 8-hour day on a Thursday, a 4-hour half day on a Wednesday and a 4-hour half day on a Friday.
The flexibility to work ad-hoc hours on an as needed basis to ensure office function continuity or leave coverage will be required.
This is an office-based position located in Newmont's Subiaco office in Perth Western Australia.
