The Opportunity
CE Group is growing, and we're looking for an experienced Design Manager – Manufacturing to lead our engineering and design capability across switchroom and switchboard projects.
Based in our Yatala office, this is a senior leadership role responsible for managing a multi-discipline team of engineers and designers while driving high-quality electrical design outcomes across complex manufacturing and infrastructure projects. You'll play a key role in ensuring design coordination, technical excellence, and efficient delivery from concept through to fabrication and construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Leading and managing a multi-discipline team delivering switchboard and switchroom designs while reporting on resource utilisation
* Producing detailed electrical designs including building services layouts, equipment selection, single line diagrams, control schematics, earthing designs, and cable schedules
* Coordinating internal and external vendor designs, managing RFIs, and ensuring alignment and cohesion across all design inputs

To Succeed In This Role, You Will Have
* Bachelor of Engineering qualification with strong experience in electrical design within manufacturing or industrial environments
* Proven leadership experience managing engineers and designers across complex project delivery
* Competency in power system analysis using ETAP or Powercard, along with strong AutoCAD drafting capability
