Business Development Manager Role Summary:
The Business Development Manager is a customer-facing role that involves growing sales across the Sunshine Coast region through proactive relationship management, technical expertise, and a genuine passion for renewable energy.
This position requires a driven and technically capable individual to join a high-performing team.
* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities within the solar and renewable energy sector
* Build strong relationships with electrical contractors, solar installers, and key industry partners
* Work collaboratively with internal sales and technical teams to convert leads into sales
* Promote Greentech's full solar product range and provide technical product support to customers
* Conduct market research to identify growth areas, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
* Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with branch and business objectives
* Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes, and product solutions
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of solar panels, inverters, and energy storage systems
* Attend customer meetings, site visits, and industry events to strengthen market presence
* Manage CRM records to accurately track pipeline activity and customer engagement
Key responsibilities include expanding the customer base, developing strategic partnerships, and identifying revenue-generating opportunities.
