With a strong supplier network and a sharp commercial approach, they manage the full process from concept development and sourcing through to production and delivery. Their focus is on building long term partnerships, providing practical advice, and ensuring every campaign delivers real impact.
About the Position
This Business Development Manager will drive new revenue growth by identifying, winning and developing new client relationships across corporate, agency and brand clients. The role combines proactive new business activity with consultative solution selling, working closely with internal production and operations teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Drive new business growth: Identify and pursue new client opportunities across target sectors, build a healthy pipeline, and convert leads into ongoing partnerships.
• Consultative selling: Understand client brand objectives, campaign activity and procurement requirements, and position tailored merchandise solutions that add measurable value.
• End to end ownership: Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal through to negotiation, onboarding and handover to internal teams.
• Relationship management: Build strong relationships with decision makers across marketing, procurement and leadership functions.
• Market insight: Stay across industry trends, competitor activity and product innovation to support strategic growth.
About You
You will bring energy, commercial awareness and a genuine appetite for winning new business. You're comfortable opening doors, asking the right questions and building trust quickly.
• Proven experience in business development or sales, ideally within branded merchandise, promotional products, marketing services or a related B2B sector.
• Strong prospecting capability and experience building a pipeline from the ground up.
• Confident communicator with the ability to present, influence and negotiate at multiple levels.
• Well organised, able to manage competing priorities and deliver on commitments.
• Must have full Australian working rights.
• A tertiary qualification is adventagious.
