About the role The successful applicant will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial non-litigated matters using keen analytical skills to provide sound and practical legal advice that reflects commercial realities consistent with the TAC’s overall corporate objectives. About the Team Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Legal this role sits within the Corporate Legal Branch in the Finance & Governance Division. The Finance & Governance Division is an enabling Division of the TAC who is responsible for providing Governance & Integrity, Corporate Legal and Finance & Procurement support to the TAC. You will be working alongside 7 other lawyers and will be a part a supportive, collaborative and close-knit team. What we’re looking for Qualification Bachelor of Laws or equivalent is required for this role as well as being entitled to or hold a current practising certificate and be admitted as an Australian Lawyer. Proven experience 2 - 5 years post-admission commercial (non-litigious) legal experience including advising on general commercial, health, property, marketing and communications matters with experience negotiating with third party suppliers. A working knowledge of the procurement framework as it applies to the Victorian Government public sector is also required. Collaboration & Communication Proven experience in collaborating across multiple divisions and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
