We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 to join our dynamic Stomal Therapy Service within Community Nursing. This multifaceted role encompasses specialist clinical care, leadership, and community-based service delivery, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes across community, clinic, and inpatient settings.
Key Responsibilities
Specialist Clinical Care: Provide complex, person-centred nursing services to clients, patients, and carers, ensuring timely and accurate maintenance of healthcare information and documentation. Clinical Leadership: Lead and contribute to the development of clinical processes, policies, and procedures to promote the advancement of clinical practice within the stomal therapy specialty. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with patients, carers, other nurses, and health professionals to ensure effective communication and coordinated care. Quality Improvement: Actively participate in quality improvement activities and provide high-level customer service to all stakeholders, including patients and staff. Policy Compliance: Adhere to all NSW Health and Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) policies and procedures, ensuring professional and competent care in line with public expectations. Delegated Tasks: Perform all other delegated tasks appropriately, in line with grading and capabilities. Alignment with Core Values: Demonstrate a commitment to Caring for the Coast vision, goals, and strategies, with behaviours that align with the NSW Health CORE values and CCLHD Values and Behaviours Charter.

About You
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with relevant post-registration qualifications.3 years' experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification, or such other qualifications or equivalent experience deemed appropriate by the public shospital or public health organisation.Demonstrated ability to provide complex care and advanced clinical skills.
