 
        
        Financial Services Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the City's financial sustainability by ensuring accurate property ownership and service address records, providing responsive customer service, and supporting the effective management and recovery of rates and sundry debtor accounts.
About the Role
You will play a key role in delivering high-quality service outcomes that support the City's financial sustainability, reporting to the Ratepayer Experience Coordinator.
 * Certificate or tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or a related field is essential for this position.
 * Experience with computerised financial systems, ideally Technology One, is highly regarded.
 * A strong understanding of accounting principles, account reconciliation and journal processing is critical to success in this role.
 * Knowledge of Local Government Acts/Local Laws relating to rating functions would be advantageous.
 * Highly developed communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills are required.
Remuneration
Level 3/4, Step 1 – Step 4 ($77,467.20 - $91,017.33) under the relevant industrial agreement, based on qualifications and experience.
