This long established Not for Profit organisation has developed a reputation for providing high-quality aged and community care services. We offer services across the North East and East Coast of Tasmania from Buckland through to Scottsdale.
The Board seeks to appoint two independent non-Executive directors who will bring excellent governance, one with a legal background and the other with additional specific skills such as marketing, risk, medical or IT experience, as detailed in the position description.
You will offer a strategic perspective on governance, safety, quality and risk matters and are able to balance the financial imperatives, commercial outcomes and community expectations to meet governance and regulatory requirements to ensure an exceptional level of service is continuing to be delivered.
An understanding of the recent aged care reform and exposure across the broader health sector will be desirable to add value as a non-Executive Director.

1. High level leadership skills.
2. Strong analytical skills and judgement of a high order.
3. Excellent communication skills with the ability to express ideas clearly and succinctly, persuade people, listen to other points of view.
4. A good understanding of health, disability and aged care policy, planning and delivery.
