About the role
As a full-time Small Engine Mechanic at Stihl shops Townsville, you will be responsible for providing expert maintenance and repair services for a variety of small engine-powered equipment, including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and other outdoor power tools. This is a critical role that supports the company's commitment to delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service in the Townsville, QLD 4810 and surrounding area.
What you'll be doing
1. Diagnosing and repairing a wide range of small engine-powered equipment
2. Performing routine maintenance, such as oil changes, tune-ups, and repairs
3. Working with the parts department Maintaining an adequate inventory of parts and supplies
4. Providing excellent customer service, including advising customers on equipment care and usage
5. Maintaining detailed records of all work performed
6. Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
What we're looking for
1. At least 1 + years of experience as a small engine mechanic or in a similar role
2. Strong technical skills and knowledge of small engine repair and maintenance
3. Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
4. Effective communication skills to interact with customers
5. Attention to detail and the ability to work independently
6. A valid driver's licence and your own tools
