This role involves ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, optimizing software usage, and providing guidance on licensing strategies.
Job Responsibilities
* Provide expert mentorship on all Microsoft purchasing motion.
* Manage and maintain software licensing agreements ensuring flawless accuracy in pricing, volumetrics as well as compliance with terms and conditions.
* Support regular audits to ensure proper usage and distribution of software licenses.
* Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to optimize software licensing costs and usage.
* Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Solution Specialists, and other cross-functional departments to provide guidance and support on software licensing issues and best practices.
* Stay up-to-date with changes in software licensing policies and regulations.
* Assist in the negotiation and renewal of software licensing agreements.
* Follow the Microsoft T-36 framework throughout the customer's agreement lifecycle, including Quarterly Business Reviews, True-up, anniversary processes, and road mapping.
* Uncover and develop opportunities within our customer base that align with our GTM strategy
* Attend internal/external customer calls and co-present with the sales team as a subject matter expert
* Develop and maintain active customer account plans to improve opportunities and increase gross profit attainment
* Aid in resolving issues and addressing concerns in collaboration with customers, software vendors, and internal teams.
* Assist with customer setup and onboarding with SoftwareOne and Vendors as required

* Proven experience with Microsoft volume licensing agreements.
* Strong understanding of software licensing models and agreements.

* Provide customers with a beneficial perspective on industry trends and their own business, understanding SoftwareOne's selling framework

* Analyze build of materials against incentive levers to accurately forecast and improve incentive returns

What We Need to See from You
* Full-time work rights in Australia
* Location: Perth, Melbourne or Sydney (Ability to commute to our local office twice a week)
* Minimum 2 years+ enterprise experience with Microsoft volume licensing programs
* Preferred to have the M365 and or Azure fundamentals certification
