The Role
This Mechanical Engineer role is focused on HVAC design within a building services environment. You will be involved end-to-end, working directly with clients and internal teams to deliver well-considered, efficient design solutions.
You will take ownership of your work, contribute to project delivery, and play an active role within the team. There is also a clear pathway to becoming a Design Regulated Practitioner, with full support provided.
Key Responsibilities
* Design HVAC systems across a range of building services projects
* Perform load calculations and equipment selection
* Develop detailed designs and documentation using REVIT
* Work closely with clients, architects, and project stakeholders
* Support construction and commissioning with technical input
* Identify design improvements and resolve system issues
* Contribute to project delivery outcomes, ensuring timelines and quality are met
* Collaborate with and support the broader engineering team
About You
* Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering
* 4 to 6 years' experience in HVAC design within building services
* Strong REVIT capability is essential
* Understanding of Australian standards and building regulations
* Able to work both independently and within a team
* Strong communication skills and a practical, solutions-focused approach
* Motivated to progress your career and work towards Design Regulated Practitioner
