The Opportunity
As a Psychologist at ESA, you'll play a crucial role in providing early intervention and therapy services to support children and families in maximising their independence and participation. Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting standardized clinical assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
Providing evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
Supporting inclusion and participation in community activities.
Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.
Focusing on continuous improvement through regular evaluation and review.
What You Need To Join
Tertiary Qualifications: Hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA
Passion for Making a Difference: Have a passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
Counselling Skills: Possess the ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
Experience: Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with necessary checks and certifications, including AHPRA registration, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS workers screening check, Covid-19 vaccination certificate or exemption, First Aid Training, and possession of a Driver's License and Vehicle.
