The Albion Centre (Albion) falls under Sexual Health and Blood Borne Virus (SH BBV) services with the Priority and Community Health Directorate of SESLHD. The service is located at Surry Hills and provides HIV, hepatitis C and sexual health care to priority populations and vulnerable groups.

The Albion adapts a collaborative approach to care within the SH BBV service by developing/maintaining links with partner services, such as the Kirketon Road Centre, Sydney Sexual Health Centre, Shorts Street Centre and HIV and Related Program unit.

The position will be primarily located at The Albion Centre but may be varied as agreed with the Albion Medical Unit Manager and Services Manager and/or the Director of SHBBV and Population and Community Health. This may include providing outreach clinical services to Southern LHD. This position will also contribute to projects which increase alignment across the SHBBV services.

This position may be extended at the discretion of SESLHD without further advertisement or interview.

SESLHD covers nine Local Government Areas from Sydney's Central Business District to the Royal National Park and has a culturally and linguistically diverse population of over 930,000 people, which includes highly urbanised areas of eastern Sydney, southern Sydney and industrialised areas around Port Botany.
SESLHD covers urban and suburban communities and manages eight public hospitals and one public nursing home:

- Calvary Healthcare Sydney (third schedule with Little Company of Mary Health Care)
- Prince of Wales Hospital
- Royal Hospital for Women
- St George Hospital
- Sutherland Hospital
- Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital
- War Memorial Hospital (third schedule with Uniting Care)
- Gower Wilson Memorial
- Garrawarra Centre

SESLHD also operates 28 Child and Family Health Centres, 12 Community Health Centres and nine Oral Health Clinics; providing prevention, early intervention and community-based treatment, palliative care and rehabilitation services.
Drug and Alcohol, Mental Health, Breast screening, HIV/AIDS, Public Health, Women's Health, Youth Health, Sexual Health, Imaging and Pathology services are provided at a number of facilities across SESLHD.
The primary location of this position may be varied as agreed with the Director of Clinical Services and as approved by MDAAC to other facilities in SESLHD.

**_Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable permanent resident or citizen of Australia has been identified for this position following suitable labour market testing._**

**_ All NSW Health workers are required to have completed a primary course of a COVID-19 vaccine which has been approved or recognised by the Therapeutics Goods Administration (TGA). Additionally, Category A workers are required to receive a booster dose three months after completing the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations. New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate (IM011 immunisation medical exemption form) certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW._**

**_ Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations._**

- Fellowship of the Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine, RACP and/or equivalent specialist recognition as provided for by the Health Insurance Act 1973 and the relevant Award/Determination.
