Project Engineer | FIFO | 6-Month Fixed Term Contract | ASAP Start
Pilbara Project Specialists is a Port Hedland–based consultancy providing project and engineering support to major resource clients across the Pilbara. We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support BHP brownfield projects on a 6-month fixed term FIFO contract.
This role suits a 5–7 year Project Engineer who enjoys being site-based, working in live operational environments and engaging directly with client stakeholders to solve problems and progress work.
Key responsibilities include:
* Project engineering support across OPEX & CAPEX brownfield scopes
* Client and stakeholder engagement to safely progress work
* Supporting planning, coordination and execution of site activities
* Identifying and resolving technical and delivery issues
* Supporting safety, quality, cost and schedule requirements
About you:
* Degree qualified in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Structural or similar)
* Ability to work autonomously and find the solution or correct approach
* Ability to pass site medical, inductions and Police Clearance
* 5–7 years' experience in project engineering or similar roles
* Strong client engagement and communication skills
* Proven problem-solving ability in dynamic site environments
* Building or infrastructure experience beneficial but not critical
* BHP site experience highly regarded, equivalent experience also considered
