**Who You Are**:
Our team is seeking an experienced and creative Minecraft Video Editor for Children's content. You will be responsible for creating engaging and intriguing videos that keep our audience hooked; with content that is relevant and up to date with the latest trends in the Minecraft and broader social media and pop culture community.
**Your Responsibilities and Skills**:
- The editing needs to be simple (similar to the references) so it is accessible to younger audiences, and doesn't turn them away
- Understand a strong focus within the story, relationships and dialogue between characters.
- Understanding what keeps the audience engaged and intrigued (Keeping viewers "Hooked")
- Ability to mimic existing editing styles, such as;
- Understanding Cuts, Flow and Variation in Tempo (Leaving no "Dead Space" & Being aware of the "Pace")
- Having a Creative outlook (Keeping up to date with the Minecraft Community & Trends in social media and pop culture)
- Understanding styles with and without music. For the references, some may be with no music or with classical standards like Maizen.
- Understanding and utilising SFX effectively (When, Where & What to add)
**Requirements**:
- At least 2+ years of experience in video editing.
- Experience and understanding in YouTube Analytics and key metrics (AVD, CTR, AVD in first 30 seconds, Impressions, etc)
- Great communication and activeness.
- Experience in Premiere Pro (However, can be Vegas or Davinci Resolve)
- Ability to meet and understand deadlines.
- Ability to understand feedback and act on it.
- Knowledge and understanding of Minecraft, social media and pop-culture trends.
